It is with great sadness we announce today that Heaven & Earth’s long time drummer Richie Onori has decided to move on to pursue his solo career. Richie has commitments that would not work with Heaven & Earth’s European touring schedule so it has been mutually decided to part ways.
Stuart Smith says, “Richie has been the rock and cornerstone of Heaven & Earth since the beginning so it is with a heavy heart that we part ways musically but Joe Retta, Arlan Schierbaum and myself wish him all the best in his future endeavors. We’ve had a friendship that has spanned over 25 years and although our musical paths have gone in different directions we remain friends”.
Richie Onori says, ” I think it’s best for all parties concerned at this time that I leave Heaven and Earth… In 25 years of playing together with Stuart we’ve had many incredible times which I will cherish forever (it’s been a blast) I wish the chaps all the success in the world as they get ready for their upcoming European tour and again Good Luck!”
